Doodh Badam Katli is a rich and creamy almond-based sweet, perfect for festive occasions. Here's how you can make it at home:

**Ingredients:**

- 350g almonds
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup full cream milk powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
- 2 tablespoons ghee (clarified butter)

**Instructions:**

1. **Prepare Almonds:**
- Soak the almonds in boiling water for 30 minutes.
- Drain and peel off the skins.
- Grind the peeled almonds into a fine paste, adding a little water if necessary.

2. **Prepare Sugar Syrup:**
- In a pan, combine 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water.
- Cook over medium heat until the sugar dissolves completely and the syrup reaches a one-string consistency.

3. **Combine Ingredients:**
- Reduce the heat to low and add the almond paste to the sugar syrup.
- Stir continuously to prevent lumps.
- Add 1 cup full cream milk powder and 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder.
- Mix well until the mixture thickens and starts to leave the sides of the pan.

4. **Add Ghee:**
- Stir in 2 tablespoons of ghee and continue to cook until the mixture becomes a dough-like consistency.

5. **Set the Mixture:**
- Transfer the mixture onto a greased plate or parchment paper.
- Flatten it evenly with a rolling pin to about 1/4-inch thickness.
- Allow it to cool completely.

6. **Cut into Pieces:**
- Once cooled, cut the set mixture into diamond or square-shaped pieces.
