Shrimp Linguine In Marinara Sauce-Shrimp Pasta in Shrimp Broth Infused Marinara Sauce I Gastro Guru

Linguine Pasta cooked in home made Shrimp broth then simmered in Marina sauce along with seasoned & pan seared shrimp! Shrimply delicious!! Ingredients & Recipe below.

Ingredients For Seasoning Shrimp:
12 large shrimp - peeled, deveined & rinsed
1/4 tsp red chili powder
Salt & Crushed black pepper to taste

Ingredients For Cooking Linguine Pasta
8 cups water
1 tsp salt
12 to 15 Shrimp shells
150 grams dry Linguine pasta

Ingredients For Shrimp Broth Infused Marinara Sauce:
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
2 large cloves of garlic - finely chopped
1 cup tomato sauce - store bought
1 cup shrimp shell infused pasta water (broth)
1 tsp Italian herb mixture (dry basil, oregano, thyme etc.)
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
Salt & crushed black pepper to taste

Cooking Instructions:
Season shrimp with ingredients listed above for seasoning it. Mix well

Next, bring water to a rolling boil in a large pot
Add shrimp shells from the shrimp we peeled to it
Boil for 30 minutes to create shrimp flavored broth
Next discard shrimp shells, add salt and cook/boil linguine pasta for 11 minutes until cooked al dente

While pasta is cooking add olive oil & butter to hot nonstick pan
Add chopped garlic, saute for 30 seconds then cook shrimp for 3 minutes
Remove cooked shrimp from pan, set aside
Next add in tomato sauce, Italian herb mixture, salt, crushed black pepper
& red pepper flakes. Mix well & let simmer on low for 2 minutes
Ladle in shrimp shell infused pasta water & let simmer for a minute more
Drain cooked linguine pasta and add to pan
Mix well by tossing it few times or with the help of a tong
Now add back cooked shrimp to the pan. Mix well to coat it with sauce
Your Shrimp Linguine pasta in Marinara Sauce is ready!
Transfer to serving dish. Garnish with Truffle-parmesan-black garlic seasoning or just grated Parmesan Cheese. Buon Appetito!
