Walk Away

Walked through the fire, didn't feel the burn
Everybody's got their lesson to learn
Looked in the mirror, couldn't see my own face
I was too lost, my soul was out of place
How many times must I make the same mistake
My trust for no-one because every ones fake
I kept on screaming just to make my own point
A worthless mission, now I sit in the joint
I am leaving all this behind, I don't care anymore
I am healing, but what I've got, you can't buy at the store
I am silent, they will not listen, they are set in their ways
So I leave them, so negative, they will bring the end of days
They tore me open to see what's inside
I spilled my guts and then I nearly died
Shared hope and wisdom, and all of my pain
They twist it up and use it for their own gain
There is no question, I live in my own World
Studied Society, I nearly hurled
So ask the questions, but make your own choice
Don't be afraid, to go and speak your voice
