NBC26 Storm Shield Weather Forecast

With a weak low pressure sliding through today we will see showers & thunderstorms in the area.  Temperatures will be in the lower 80s with east and northeast winds around 5 to 10 mph. More 80s are on the way for Friday.  We will see sun & clouds with just a slight chance of a shower/storm. Warm and humid weather sticks around for the weekend. Highs will be in the lower to mid 80s with mostly sunny skies.  Some much needed rainfall right now looks to arrive Monday as a stronger storm complex moves in from the southwest. A few showers could linger into the early hours of Tuesday.
