The Texas House Speakership fight

The Texas House first convenes on January 14, 3 days from the time of this recording. This is also the same day they will vote in a Speaker for the House. Two Republicans are set to face off: Burrows and Cook.

Come hear about the two major issues in the past 2 years that rocked Texas politics in what I describe as political earthquakes. They are crucial in understanding the current fight over the Speakership in the state of Texas currently. What exactly is going on between Burrows and Cook, two Republicans both eyeing the Texas speakership.
