Auntie Liv Was Anything, But Boring…She Was Quirky, Eccentric With A Unique Sense Of HueMOOR…She Was Also Genuinely Warm & A True People’s Person…She Was Truly Authentic & We Immediately Hit It Off…She had A Love Of #McDonald’s That Rivaled Her Husband’s, My Uncle Frenchie’s, Love Of Spaghetti 🍝 From #PigglyWiggly’s…LOL…Her Being Comfortable In Her Own Skin Encouraged Others To Show Up As Their Authentic Selves…She Was A True Light Worker In That Way.

Aunt Liv & Uncle Frenchie Got Married 8/24/1952…She Was 15 & He Was 25…Uncle Frenchie Joked That He Fell In Love With Her When He Spotted Her On A Playground In Brooklyn, NY…Or Was it A Joke Mane??? Regardless, They Stayed Married For Nearly 70 Yrs & That Union Produced 3 BE-YOU-TOO-FULL Children & A Successful Newspaper Biz That Advocated For Black Families & Community First For Nearly 50 Years.

Due To Advance Dementia @ The Time Of Her Death, She Wasn’t Aware That Her Son, #JamesFrenchJr., Transitioned Before Her In November Of Last Year…My Heart & Sympathies Goes Out To Both The Remaining Children From That Union, My Cuzzos Simona French & Nanette Smalls As Well As To The Grandchildren Including My Cuzzos T & Damien & The Rest Of The Family & Friends Impacted By This Loss…
