The question isn't whether you can achieve your dreams. The real question is: "How far are you willing to go to KEEP them?"

Dave and his band started from the bottom, until finally, they got a shot at their music dreams when they are signed to a label. After years of paying their dues, they finally made it. Until their record label gets bought by a Wall Street Hedge Fund, and everyday the dream gets just a little bit smaller, and a little bit smaller. Chipping away, until there is no dream left at all.

"This wasn't how it was supposed to go, was it? How had they ended up here? What had they done wrong? They'd followed the rules, hadn't they? Signed the contracts, played the gigs, smiled for the cameras. They did everything they were supposed to do. Everything they were told to do. They had done nothing wrong, but somehow ... they still lost."

"Everyday we keep bending over, with fear that if we don't, things will get worst. And everyday, things keep getting worst anyway. Clearly, bending over isn't getting us anywhere ... so I say we give Standing-Up a try."

“You guys need to figure out where you stand, officers. Because either you stand with the 99, or you stand with the 1% … and you will be treated accordingly.”

There are two types of medical pamphlets: the ones that help you identify a problem by giving you a list of symptoms, and the ones that help you solve a problem by giving you a list of instructions.

George Orwell's "1984" was the first. "# Monday Blues" is the second.
