Politics Hurt DISNEY’S Box Office According to New Survey | Company Changes Course

A new survey conducted shows Disney inserting politics in their movies have had a negative effect of the company’s box office performance.

While this new information isn’t the most surprising it is some actual data supporting what many intuitively believe. These last few years it has been apparent the Disney content that pushed political agendas underperformed when compared to other content that went out of its way to be neutral. Disney appears to understand this with some of their latest success cases like Inside Out 2 or Moana 2.
