Arsonist suspect? "No probable cause", the LA police said. Re-eally???😱😱😱?

A suspected arsonist armed with a blowtorch was tackled to the ground, restrained with zip ties by enraged locals, around the wealthy neighborhood where the ferocious Kenneth Fire erupted on Thursday afternoon in the Woodland Hills area of the San Fernando Valley on the border of Ventura County.

The Law enforcement in Southern California was called to the site, and detained the possible arson suspect .

The suspect was taken into custody and was transported to Topanga Station, the department wrote in the post.

During a press conference mid-Friday morning, police Assistant Chief Dominic Choi , however, said the allegation that man detained by residents “attempting to light a fire in the community." has been determined to be unfounded.

According to Choi, after interviewing the suspect and reviewing evidence, officers determined they did not have probable cause to arrest the man on charges related to any fires.
