*Still in the offices of Memory Hernandez's media headquarters, President Harriet Hill makes sure all of Memory's satellites are focused and ready before calling in the military. She knows exactly what she wants to have happen and quickly she orders a strike that is not targeted at the nightmare Empty Kind that has been destroying Hawaii but rather a strike focused only on Reject. In fact, Reject has been doing so well in attacking and maiming the horde of Empty Kind that the few that remain are already fleeing back to the ocean when the Next Gen fighters that President Hill called for suddenly arrive. However, when they do begin bombing and shooting they hit not only near to Reject but also near to DirLan, an action that causes more of DirLans family to rush to her aid. While her father Kane remains busy below sealing the openings Leviathan has left, her brothers...connected as well to her psychic call of distress...hurry forward to protect. They, and Reject, down many a Next Gen fighter, doing exactly as President Hill had hoped might happen. She captures every attack on the fighters with Memory's help, ignoring, of course, how the fighters were the first to strike, and brings many a visual to the next days State of the Union address where she shows to the world how the government has already, and on its own, imprisoned villains like Price, has survived the sudden insanity of Control and his assault at the Capitol, and then she uses Memory's idea and names Reject Reject before blaming him for Houstons destruction. She also brings up Hawaii and connects Reject to the Empty Kind, and those strange men from the ocean, and swears that they alone were responsible for Hawaii's devastation. But Hill is not done, she soon promises that when Amendment 30 gets ratified by every state the government will finally be able to respond, on its own again, even more forcefully to threats such as what she has just displayed. This all leads to Hill getting a standing ovation as cries for "Write the Amendment, Pass the Amendment," soon fill the House. The first sad step towards changing the constitution begins [AI Art]*
