The composition THE ANTEATER, was written for my middle school beginning band students as an instructional aide to assist my students as they were learning their first notes, as well as the eighth note rhythms in their band method book.

It is my hope that THE ANTEATER will provide students with a song that they will enjoy learning to play, and provide other music educators with a teaching tool that can be used to motivate, and encourage their students. THE ANTEATER is dedicated to the Madison County Central School Bands, Madison, Florida.
