Join us for a LIVE #Deprogrammed with Keri Smith on Friday, January 10th at 2:30pm CST. We're talking about objective truth, objective good and evil, and the societal benefits of so-called "kink shaming" and making moral judgments.

It's ok to "kink shame."

My absolute favorite True Crime podcaster does this thing quite often when discussing the facts of a case, where she will describe the most disgusting, immoral behavior, and then say, "Not to kink shame anyone but..."

I've heard it a lot, but most recently when discussing the case of Marius Gustavson, who was convicted after running a Castration site, where consenting adults signed up to have him castrate them as part of his fetish, which also involved cannibalism.

I think it's safe to "kink shame" this, folks.

It's made me think about how common this has become with younger people. They have been trained by society to morally judge those who morally judge degenerate and perverse behavior.

It's sort of similar to people who say things like "Moral Judgments are Wrong!" - which is itself a moral judgment.

We should normalize so-called "kink-shaming" again. It's ok to believe in good and evil. In right and wrong. It's ok to have proper moral standards (God's order) and to try to enforce them socially, lest society fall apart to the degree that people beg for authoritarianism and the boot of tyranny. There is absolute truth. Reject postmodernism. Reject this "there is no good or evil, there is no right or wrong, you do you, anything goes, live your truth, don't kink shame or make moral judgments except when morally judging those whose judgments we don't like" way of life.

Stand for something.

I believe in changing culture towards the good and the true (towards God) - not through force but through free will.

Talking about some of this today at 2:30pm CST.
