Bound for Valhalla

With sword and shield, I struck the blow,
Honored enemy.
fallen foe.
I did not see the arrow's flight,
I closed my eyes—
Sleep well, good knight.

So come now, brothers, leave a space for me,
Bound for Valhalla, where the bold run free.
In the hall of echoes, where our fates align,
Raise your cups high; we’ll meet in time.

I drew the string, my aim was true.
The fletching sang. as the arrow flew.
But their charge broke through.
our fragile line,
A blade found me—
The fault was mine.

So come now, brothers, leave a space for me,
Bound for Valhalla, where the bold run free.
In the hall of echoes, where our fates align,
Raise your cups high; we’ll meet in time.

My voice was strong, my song was bright,
To stir their hearts in the fading light.
But steel is deaf to melody,
A silent dirge—
They sang for me.

So come now, brothers, leave a space for me,
Bound for Valhalla, where the bold run free.
In the hall of echoes, where our fates align,
Raise your cups high; we’ll meet in time.

I stood my ground, my spear in hand,
Against the tide, to protect our land.
A cruel axe cleaved my battle cry,
But I’ll rise again—
We never die.

So come now, brothers, leave a space for me,
Bound for Valhalla, where the bold run free.
In the hall of echoes, where our fates align,
Raise your cups high; we’ll meet in time.

We march as one, through fire and stone,
In Valhalla’s halls, we are never alone.
Our deeds are etched on the shield of time,
Raise your cups high—
The next rounds mine.
