ARE YOU READY? was written for my 6th grade beginning band to use as an instructional aide to assist my students as they were learning the first notes, rhythms and dynamics in their band method book. The students really enjoyed playing the song at a faster tempo after they learned their music.

It is my hope that ARE YOU READY? will provide students with a song that they will enjoy learning to play, and provide other music educators with a teaching tool that can be used to motivate, and encourage their students. ARE YOU READY? is dedicated to the students of the Madison County Central School Bands.
