As we build the practice, flow through the warm up exercises previously learned.
Knowledge of the basics of diaphragmatic breathing keeps your brain flooded with oxygen (creating energy- food for your brain!) and your delicate lungs flexible and responsive.

The human brain is one of the most metabolically active organs in the body, despite not performing mechanical work like skeletal muscle or the heart. The normal human brain consumes 3.5 ml of O2 per 100 g of brain tissue per minute, a value which remains constant throughout periods of wakefulness and sleep. This relatively high rate of oxygen consumption is appreciable when compared to the metabolic rate of the entire body.
