Synopsis:

Paul "Monk" Baroni, known for his facial disfigurement and leadership of the "Billy Goat Gang," harbors deep-seated anger due to his appearance. Father Callahan, a compassionate parish priest, introduces Monk to boxing as a means to channel his aggression positively. Under the priest's guidance, Monk refines his boxing skills and undergoes plastic surgery to correct his facial deformity.
