S1 - E4 - WE VISIT EILEAN DONAN CASTLE - BMW Motorrad Highlands & Islands Tour

After a rather eventful Day 3, we decided to take some time to regroup and gather our thoughts on what had happened (watch Episode 3 to understand after Sarah’s emergency dismount!) we then re-joined the rest of the group in Gairloch, enjoyed another sociable evening with plenty of continued banter and a very warm greeting from the others to make Sarah feel so much better - thank you each and every one of you 👍🥰

Day 4 we left Gairloch and headed today to the Isle of Skye, it started out damp and overcast, but this got rather sketchy with poor visibility and again very dangerous road conditions as the day went on. When we arrive on the Isle of Skye the sun was shining, and the scenery was spectacular. Well worth the ride, that’s for sure.

As we arrived in good time, a few of us chose to go out again and ride a loop of the island, in principle, this was a great idea, however, the weather had different plans for our enjoyment. We had horizontal rain, gale force winds and a serious drop in temperature, as well as a road traffic accident that also shook us up made for a not so pleasant ride out.
