S1 - E1 - TRAVEL DAY 570 MILES - BMW Motorrad Highlands & Islands Tour

This was a tour we originally had planned for 2021, but due to the lockdowns and travel restrictions, we managed to finally take part in May 2022.

We had a fantastic group of riders, from all around the UK and the pleasure of having some true characters with us from America.

The banter started from the very first minute we all met, and long after the tour had finished (yes, the messages are still flowing thick and fast) We are sure we will remain in contact with many of them for years to come. We also hope to travel and ride with them again soon.

This is Episode 1 covering our travel day to the meet and greet in Edinburgh via a pit-stop to drop our dogs at my parents and then ride up from Norfolk to Scotland.

The trip took a slightly different and unplanned turn following an accident, which resulted in us then going from 2 bikes, to a 1 bike 2 up and all the basic luggage we could possibly squeeze on to continue the tour.
