The world's largest cave

Son Doong is the largest cave on the planet and also the most majestic cave in Vietnam. Son Doong Cave was discovered by Ho Khanh - a forest worker from Phong Nha, Quang Binh in 1990 and in 2009, the British-Vietnamese cave exploration team (The British Vietnam Caving Expedition Team) led by Mr. Howard Limbert explored, surveyed and measured. Son Doong Cave was announced by the exploration team and National Geographic magazine as the largest natural limestone cave in the world in 2009. In 2013, Son Doong Cave was recognized by Guinness World Records as the largest natural cave in the world.
