LA Mayor Karen Bass SLASHES Fire Department Budget by $17.6M Before DEVASTATING Wildfires

Karen Bass, Mayor of LA, slashed LAFD budget by $17.6 Million months before the breakout of the devastating LA Wildfires. She received a letter from Fire Chief Kristin Crowley detailing how badly the cuts affected the fire department. She was made aware that the department would be ill prepared for any disasters and would be unable to do training or buy equipment. Bass still went ahead with the cuts, which were to be used to assist the homeless community. However, Bass never used the majority of the money for anything. In this video, I show evidence of the cuts, as well as the letter from Chief Crowley. I also discuss what effect these cuts had on the current disaster.
