Info from Licensor: "I was inspired this day as I thought about my brother who has passed away. He was a very kind kid who cared about others but was very misunderstood and was bullied. The bullying was because he talked funny. He talked funny because he was a C.O.D.A. which is a 'child of deaf adults'. His first language was sign language. English was a very difficult language at first. His best friend was someone who would protect him from bullies and give them someone to play with. When he was 8-years-old, his best friend moved away. The only kids left to play with were the bullies, but he gave it a try anyway. While visiting a lake it was believed that the bullies may have drowned my brother, but there was no way to prove anything or who might be the suspect. The reason this was believed was because none of the kids with whom he was supposed to be swimming new what happened. I made this video to bring awareness to the subject of bullying and those who are deaf as well as the children of deaf adults. Bullies and parents of bullies need to know the potential results of their actions."
