Do Christians And Muslims Worship The Same God?

The Quran's depiction of Allah as unknowable and detached (Quran 5:15) contrasts sharply with the Christian God's intimate and loving nature. The Christian God, as revealed in Jesus Christ, does not hide behind veils but enters into human suffering to redeem His creation. Unlike the Muslim God, who demands adherence to strict laws to "earn" mercy, the Christian God offers unconditional forgiveness through His sacrifice on the cross. This is the ultimate act of love—a love far beyond the cold transcendence described in Islam. How can a god who refuses to come near truly care for his people?

The Bible reveals the beauty of a God who draws near:

John 3:16 – "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." - This verse shows the immeasurable love of God for all people.

Romans 5:8 – "But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." - God's love is proactive and sacrificial.
Psalm 34:18 – "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." - God is near to those who seek Him.

Muslims, how can you follow a god who hides himself and forces you to earn his mercy? Come to Jesus Christ, THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE, your SAVIOR AND REDEEMER who loves you personally and gave His life for your sins!
