In this heartfelt portion of Psalm 119, Daud declares his loyalty to Yahuah's Word, finding comfort and life in His promises despite being scorned by the proud. Yet, we know Daud himself fell short at times, as we all do. What sets him apart is his heart of repentance, always returning to Yahuah's Turah. While Yahusha perfectly upheld the Turah, the rest of us stumble, learn, and grow. This passage reminds us that even in our failings, Yahuah's Word brings life, guiding us back to His truth. May His laws become the songs of your journey, drawing you closer to Him.

Remember the word to Your servant,
The promise where my hope stands tall.
You’ve caused me to wait upon Your truth,
Yet Your word has given life through it all.
(Chorus)
This is my comfort in affliction,
Your word breathes life in me.
Though the proud may scorn and mock,
When I turn from You and repent.
(Verse 2)
The proud have utterly scorned me,
Yet I won’t turn aside from Your Turah.
I remember Your directives, Yahuah,
In Your wisdom, I find who You are.
(Chorus)
This is my comfort in affliction,
Your word breathes life in me.
Though the proud may scorn and mock,
When I turn from You and repent.
(Bridge)
Rage has seized me for the lawless,
Who’ve forsaken all You said.
But Your laws are my songs of promise,
In the place where my steps have led.
(Verse 3)
I remember Your Name in the night,
O Yahuah, You steady my soul.
I guard Your Turah in reverence,
For Your truth has made me whole.
(Final Chorus)
This is my comfort in affliction,
Your word breathes life in me.
Though the proud may scorn and mock,
When I turn from You and repent.
(Outro)
Your word forever holds me fast,
A song of truth that will always last.
In the night, I call Your Name,
Yahuah, forever the same.
