Massive wildfires in California force over 50,000 people to evacuate:

In Los Angeles, a state of emergency has been declared, schools have been closed, tens of thousands of residents have been evacuated, and power outages have affected approximately 100,000 people.

The wildfires were triggered by a severe windstorm that ignited multiple fires, which have spread rapidly.

Over 4,000 acres have now been burned across three separate wildfires: Hurst, Palisades, and Eaton.
