For the first time in a decade Lake’s Michigan and Huron’s water levels have
dipped below their long term average. According to the Army Corp of Engineers the lakes are down two inches from last month and eight inches from a year ago. Water levels tend to run in 10-15 year cycles. The last low period was in January 2013 with an all-time low or 29 inches below normal. David Barr Michigan News Source.
