Triumph on the Trails: Conquering the Ann Arbor Triathlon!

Experience the thrill and challenge of Ann Arbor Triathlon at Pinckney Recreation are in Gregory, Michigan. This incredible event offered both Sprint and Olympic distance triathlons set amidst stunning, yet demanding terrain.

The race began with a vigorous swim in the calm waters of Halfmoon Lake, followed by a hilly cycling course that tested endurance and strength. The final segment -- a trail run -- proved to be the most challenging, featuring narrow, one-lane paths, uneven plank bridges, steep climbs, rocky stairs, and even large fallen tree trunks to navigate around. Despite a fall and injury during the run, I pushed through and was thrilled to win an age group award!
