During trump’s first presidency he expressed the desire for this merge and during his first four years he replaced NAFTA with a treaty called the USMCA The acronym stands for united States Canada and Mexico. Of course, when the communist came into power with the election of joe Biden this agreement was technically done away with and the recognition of NAFTA was reestablished. Trump has stated that when he’s back in the presidency he will reinstate the USMCA.
