"Hot On The Trail" || Demo Submission || Troma's "The Power of Positive Murder"

A friend of mine (David McGhee) referred me to Lloyd Kaufman (Head of Troma Entertainment) to submit to be the composer on one of their upcoming films called "The Power Of Positive Murder". David has worked for Troma in the past and is still connected with many of the staff including Lloyd himself. David has been following my music and liked it enough and felt I have the chops to compose a score on one of Troma's films. So he referred me to Lloyd.

Without knowing anything about the story other than it is to be a "gum-shoe" film-noir type film but with a Troma sensibility, I quickly composed this short cue. I was told that there are going to be a variety of songs that will be covers of Cole Porter songs from the early 1900s. So taking that into account I came up with something that was inspired by his style of music but with my own twist on big band jazz.
