Happy Headbanger Friday, Hard Rockers, Headbangers, and the Hardcore! We’re closing out Huckster Month with a big show today. 50 years of Motörhead. A band so great the Bay Area thrash metal scene wouldn’t exist without it. Wow, 50 years, man. Well, we’ve got a jam-packed show for you with a Guest VJ announcing a Triple Threat of Motörhead to celebrate 50 years of being one of the most influential metal bands to ever hit the stage. We also have bands making their first appearance on the show, and as always, we’re bringing you the best from the 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2000s-present that our Metal Family Tree has to offer!

I’ll keep this short about the title of the show. When you go snowboarding, always, always make sure to have something that can be identified in the snow as your keychain. If it wasn’t for a phosphorescent hunter's orange night rabbit's foot resting against a tree on turn 13 of the Zugspitze’s double black diamond, we’d never have found those keys and made it to Monday morning’s PT formation on time. Those 36 hours going back and forth from Heidelberg to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, on a cold January weekend in the winter of '93 wouldn’t have been the reason we titled this show. Headbangers because I can’t think of any way to…say it! When I close my eyes and think back to those days, back when we were in our 20s, young, Spartan-like, indestructible, bullet-proof…my brain lights up like a Starlight Flare and the movie of my memories starts. You’re gonna have a great time watching this show, folks.
