In response to a video short titled “Defending the Wrong Things” (https://youtube.com/shorts/qb2xYrzPDaY?si=kCWJhLE9MAT2yT_C), which is derived from a longer video titled “Are You Defending What God Has Not Planted” (https://youtu.be/k0OrZGTVsRM?si=KZ9XkXIp495MgwIc), @patrickparker argued:

“The Bible asserts that prayerful requests will be granted. However, extensive studies on prayer have revealed that Christians do not receive their prayers more frequently than Hindus do. It is erroneous to claim that Jesus was a fraud and a liar. He made a promise to his disciples that he would return while some of them were still alive, yet he failed to fulfill any Messianic prophecies. His followers, aware of this, selectively interpreted certain passages from the Old Testament and presented them as prophecies when they are not.”
