On January sixth, Luoyang Molybdenum Industry released a production announcement for two thousand twenty-four, and the production of major products such as copper, cobalt, and niobium all reached a historical high. In two thousand twenty-four, the company produced six hundred and fifty thousand one hundred and sixty-one tons of copper, of which one hundred and seventy-four thousand tons were produced in the fourth quarter. According to the upper limit of production guidance, the completion rate reached one hundred and fourteen%, an increase of two hundred and thirty thousand tons compared to two thousand twenty-three, a year-on-year increase of fifty-five%. As a byproduct of copper, the company will produce one hundred and fourteen thousand one hundred and sixty-five tons of cobalt annually in two thousand twenty-four, a year-on-year increase of one hundred and six%. This is thanks to the support of two world-class copper mines, TFM and KFM, in the Democratic Republic of Congo. In the first half of two thousand twenty-four, three production lines of the TFM mixed ore project successfully achieved production capacity and met standards. Along with the original tenK and fifteenK production lines, TFM has formed five production lines with an annual copper production capacity of four hundred and fifty thousand tons. KFM has an annual production capacity of one hundred and fifty thousand tons of copper, and through continuous technological improvements and process innovation, it will set a new monthly production record in two thousand twenty-four. Tungsten production has also increased. In two thousand twenty-four, the company seized the opportunity of high tungsten product prices, adjusted its production pace and strategy, and produced eight thousand two hundred and eighty-eight tons of tungsten throughout the year, with a completion rate of one hundred and eleven% and a year-on-year growth of four%. At the same time, the company produces fifteen thousand three hundred and ninety-six tons of molybdenum with a completion rate of one hundred and three%. The company's niobium metal production exceeded ten thousand tons for the first time in two thousand twenty-four, reaching ten thousand twenty-four tons, a year-on-year increase of five%; The production of phosphate fertilizer was one.eighteen million tons, a year-on-year increase of one%. Last year, LoMo Brazil improved efficiency management, strengthened process innovation, and increased recovery rates, laying a solid foundation for the release of production. At the beginning of the new year, various mining areas of Luoyang Molybdenum Industry have launched a "new journey" for two thousand twenty-five. According to the five-year development plan, the company is advancing its expansion plan, including the TFM West Area project and the preliminary exploration work of KFM Phase II.
