Leviathan and Yahweh's Conquest over the Sea

The Old Testament is full of passages that describe God’s creation of the world, and most of them are described in terms of combat between Yahweh and the sea as well as a primordial sea monster named Leviathan. In this video, I explore the roots of this ancient motif and how it is developed within the Bible.
