American Miracles: Our Lady of Prompt Succor

Taken from the sermon "Mary, Our Sweetheart" by Bishop. Charles McGuire, this video tells the story of two miracles Our Lady of Prompt Succor worked in Cajun country. In the 1700s, a devastating fire broke out in New Orleans where the Ursuline nuns were, and Our Lady extinguished it at the prayer of those devout spouses of Christ. Then during the war of 1812, the British invaded the city, and against seemingly impossible odds, the Americans defeated them and the city was miraculously spared due yet again to the devout prayers and confidence in Our Lady of Prompt Succor to secure the victory.
