Anima Christi ("Soul of Christ"): The following was taken from an article cited from Jack Wintz, OFM, June 2017, St. Anthony Messenger in Franciscan Media: A person holding crucifix while praying. ANIMA CHRISTI is a prayer touching souls on a profound level. The words are most sacred and, with the Spirit’s help, they can lead us into an immediate union with Christ. The Anima Christi (Soul of Christ) has been attributed to St. Ignatius of Loyola (1491–1556), but historians say that it predates Ignatius by as much as a century-and-a-half. Also, a long tradition tells us that it was a favorite of his. In many cases, in fact, it served as the opening prayer of the Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius. This sacred prayer is sublime and seems to transcend all time, all centuries.

ANIMATED BIBLE CINEMA, in conjunction with S.O.S. for CHRIST felt the world needs to meditate on this powerful prayer by looking at it from the "animated" lens. Below you will find the Anima Christi prayer. "Pax et Bonum!"

Soul of Christ, sanctify me.
Body of Christ, save me.
Blood of Christ, inebriate me.
Water from the side of Christ, wash me.
Passion of Christ, strengthen me.
O good Jesus, hear me.
Within your wounds, hide me.
Let me never be separated from you.
From the malignant enemy, defend me.
In the hour of my death, call me,
And bid me come to you,
That with your saints I may praise you
Forever and ever. Amen.
