Our first brewery visit of 2025 was our local, 3 Nations!
We stopped in to taste their recent small batch release: a really malty and tasty Doppelbock called 'Bock Bock' (Ken had 2 because it is so good…). Kat started off with the 7.8% Imperial / hazy IPA called 'Lunar Phase' which she loved the hoppy cereal taste of it.
Other brews we enjoyed were Symbol's 'Low Visibilty' a 7.3% Hazy IPA that was a perfect balance of hops and fruitiness. 'Big Wheel' 5.3% Amber Lager, that was not sweet, making it perfect. Why are so many ambers crazy sweet these days? We finished up with a smooth, easy drinking 7% winter ale called 'Wintery Mix' in preparation for the crazy weather we are expecting in North Texas later this week
