Allstate CEO Tom Wilson Sparks Outrage Over ‘Addiction to Divisiveness’ Statement Following New Orleans Terror Attack

Allstate CEO Tom Wilson has found himself at the center of a social media firestorm after releasing a video statement
addressing the deadly terror attack in New Orleans that took place on Wednesday. The incident, which resulted in the
deaths of more than a dozen people, led to the postponement of the Sugar Bowl, a game for which Allstate is the official corporate sponsor.
In his video, Wilson expressed condolences for the victims but also delivered a message about unity and division.
He urged Americans to overcome an addiction to divisiveness and negativity, stating that the country must accept people’s imperfections
and differences in order to move forward.
