Recently, dairy company Arla announced a trial in the UK of a new cattle feed called Bovaer, which contains a methane-reducing additive, in association with 30 of its farmers and three major supermarkets. Here I discuss the project in more detail and consider how we might navigate this controversial scheme and its potential consequences, together with any contradictions and heresay, in order to reach informed decisions in our shopping habits and the food we eat. This video also includes a slideshow showcasing some of the many farmers who have declared themselves Bovaer-free.
