Exodus part 1

This lesson introduces the Exodus story, which is the seminal event in Hebrew history. It is central to understanding the Hebrew Bible, which is in turn critical to understanding the New Testament. The Exodus is a new Creation, and the New Testament writers saw in the life of Jesus another Exodus. There are also some recent archaeological discoveries mentioned at the beginning of the lesson - Roman imperial temple, Christian amulet with scroll, and the Herculaneum library scrolls.
