Happy New Year Faith Seekers!
As we step into this new year, let us carry the joy and hope brought by the Christ Child, whose birth we’ve just celebrated. His presence reminds us that each new beginning is filled with promise and purpose.

The story of the Epiphany, commemorated on January 6th, marks the visit of the Magi, often referred to as the Three Kings or Wise Men, to the Christ Child. In this reading of Matthew 2, we bring to life the journey of the wise men, their encounter with King Herod, and their worship of Jesus.
The Magi, traditionally thought to be three in number due to the three gifts mentioned (gold, frankincense, and myrrh) guided by a miraculous star, embarked on a long journey seeking the "King of the Jews," whose birth was prophesied.
Upon arriving in Jerusalem, the Magi inquired about the newborn king, which deeply troubled King Herod. Fearing a threat to his throne, Herod deceitfully asked the Magi to find the child and report back, pretending he wanted to worship Him as well. The star led the Magi to Bethlehem, where they found Jesus with His mother, Mary.
They bowed in worship and presented their gifts -Gold, Frankincense, and Myrrh.
The Epiphany is a profound celebration of God's manifestation to the world, inviting all people to recognize and worship Jesus Christ as King, Priest, and Savior.
