All Things Spiritual -Revelation 6 Part 1

In Revelation 6, the Lamb opens one of the seals, and one of the four beasts calls upon the apostle to observe. The vision depicts Jesus riding on a white horse, symbolizing the victory and triumph of the gospel. Christ's bow, a symbol of the convictions of the Word of God, abides in strength and never returns empty. A crown is given to him, symbolizing that all who receive the gospel must be loyal and obedient subjects. Christ continues to conquer and expand the kingdom of Christ in the world, conquering enemies in His people and wicked men. The successful progress of the gospel is a glorious sight worth beholding, and the kingdom of Christ will be established and enlarged despite opposition. The gospel is preached before the plagues are poured forth, and Christ's work is not all done at once. The gospel's progress is not all done at once, but it will do its own work effectually in His own time and way.
