Daytona USA: Championship Circuit Edition is an updated version of the classic arcade racing game Daytona USA, released for the Sega Saturn in 1996. Developed by Sega AM3 and published by Sega, this edition enhances the original game with new features, improved performance, and additional content.

Key improvements include smoother graphics, better frame rates, and a refined handling model for vehicles, addressing some of the criticisms of the original Saturn port. The game introduces two new tracks—National Park Speedway and Desert City—alongside the original Three-Seven Speedway (renamed Lakeside Castle). Players can also choose from new cars, each with unique handling characteristics, adding variety to the gameplay.

A significant addition is the inclusion of two-player split-screen multiplayer, a long-requested feature missing from the initial release. The soundtrack was also remixed, offering fresh takes on iconic songs like "Let's Go Away."

While Daytona USA: Championship Circuit Edition improved on several aspects of the original game, some fans noted that the physics and overall feel of the driving experience differed from the arcade version. Despite this, the game remains a cherished entry in the Daytona USA series and a notable title in Sega Saturn’s library.
