2024, thank you

Where did the time go?!

This year will forever hold a special place in my heart. It’s the year I left fear at the doorstep and stepped boldly into the open doors God placed before me. A year where the Lord’s voice was louder than ever, His truth clearer than I’d ever known. He renewed my trust in Him, revived the dreams I thought were lost, and breathed fresh life into passions I had buried long ago.

This year, He showed me what it truly means to live for Him—how He has intricately designed each of us for a unique and meaningful purpose. I’ve begun to walk in the plans He prepared for me long before I even knew them. It’s been a season of becoming, of surrender, and of stepping into the identity He created me to embrace.

In outer perspective, this year may seem quiet to some—simple, maybe even mundane. No extravagant travels, no flashy milestones. But for me, it has been a year of profound beauty. I’ve learned to savor the peace in the slow pace of life, to treasure the fleeting moments that come and go with each passing day. I’ve come to realize that this moment, this season, is a once in a lifetime gift.

I became a mom of three. We moved into a new home. I grew closer to God. My marriage grew stronger as we learned together what it means to truly listen, grow, and fight for intimacy. And while this year hasn’t been without challenges, it has been full of grace and growth.

Becoming a mom for the third time has been the most humbling and beautiful reminder of how precious time really is. It’s made me want to hold on tighter, to soak in every second because I know how quickly these moments slip away. This season won’t last forever, but I’m so grateful to be here now.

Every breath we take, every second we are alive—it’s all a gift from the Lord. We may know how to breathe, but we don’t control it. We may tell time, but we cannot slow it down or stop it. Everything is in His hands, and that realization fills me with gratitude, reverence, and awe.

2024, thank you for the lessons, the love, the growth, and the joy. I’ll treasure these memories forever. Here’s to stepping into the year ahead with faith, hope, and expectation. Thank you, Jesus, for it all.
