Car Hunting with EHR: The Family Truckster

I've been searching the web for the right classic wagon or Suburban to satisfy the need for a family truckster. It had to be something pre 1970, big enough to pull a light duty car trailer if need be, nice but not show car-can't-use-it-as-a-daily-driver nice, and not be a total project. I knew I would not be able to find exactly what I wanted and would have to make a few changes, especially in my budget price range. I searched FB marketplace repeatedly and coming up with about anything except what I was looking for ( man, Meta really needs to hire car guys to fix their search engine.) I checked out Craigslist and eBay, everything was too much money, too nice, or too far away. I decided to look at Hemmings and there it was. A full size wagon that was lightly restored n my price range. is it exactly what wanted? No, but it is a nice car and my wife likes it.
