At first sight this looks like a pair of rather small true wireless music playing earbuds but no, in fact they are noise reducing earplugs with no Bluetooth or active components.

In the rather attractively designed box, you receive a pair of earbuds, a lightweight but robust carry case, a wrist lanyard, and six pairs of silicone ear tips in addition to the pair already installed. Build quality all seems fine, the ear plugs seem well made and built to last. Although their use is pretty obvious, it is a pity there is no user guide included, there are printed instructions on the box but they are virtually impossible to read.

In total you receive seven pairs of ear tips in three different sizes and in single or double skin construction. Select the pair most suited to your ears, I found the largest you can fit give the best results. Remove the pair currently fitted – they just pull free – and fit the new ones. Fitting the new tip seems easy enough but in fact, it can be a bit tricky. You have to insert the stalk of the ear tip into the aperture of the earbud, but as both are soft and flexible, getting purchase to do so can take a while, but then you only need to do it once.

The manufacturers claim a noise reduction of 36dB and this may well be the case. I found that they made a significant but not dramatic difference. That said, the plugs are light in weight and comfortable to wear for long periods and perfect for bed time use.

Priced at £27.99, if you have trouble sleeping due to extraneous noise, then these little plugs might be just what you need.
