The leading project of Radio and Television Metrology has won the first prize of the China Federation of Commerce Service Industry Science and Technology Innovation Award. Recently, the results of the sixteenth China Federation of Commerce Service Industry Science and Technology Innovation Award were officially announced. The "Key Technology Research and Application of Power Battery System Testing and Evaluation" project led by Radio and Television Metrology won the first prize of the Service Industry Science and Technology Innovation Award of the China Business Federation. The China Chamber of Commerce Service Industry Science and Technology Innovation Award is an authoritative award established with the approval of the Ministry of Science and Technology and the National Science and Technology Awards Office. It aims to recognize organizations and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to scientific research, technological innovation, achievement promotion, and high-tech industrialization in the national commercial service industry, and further promote scientific research and innovation in service industry enterprises. This project has broken through three key technologies: testing and evaluation methods for key performance parameters of power batteries, safety and reliability evaluation methods for power battery systems, and functional safety evaluation technology for battery management systems. It has built a testing, evaluation, and technical service platform based on power battery cells, modules, and power battery systems, with a platform technology readiness rating of nine levels. In response to the common technical challenges in the development of the power battery industry, the project focuses on technological innovation and has formed three major innovative highlights: the construction of a comprehensive dynamic simulation working condition fusion algorithm, a multi-point triggered thermal runaway danger point evaluation method for power battery systems, and a multi-functional and multi-level matching battery management system functional safety evaluation method. It solves the problems of battery static testing not reflecting the actual service performance, the lack of a system level thermal runaway safety evaluation index system, and the lag of high-energy density inspection methods, making the testing closer to the actual performance of power batteries in electric vehicle driving, improving testing accuracy and stability. As of now, the project has released ten group standards, obtained eight authorized invention patents, obtained five software copyrights, published twenty-one academic papers with Chinese core or above, and served more than three hundred power battery related enterprises, effectively promoting technological progress in the power battery industry. The National New Energy Vehicle Testing Laboratory of Radio and Television Metrology has won the Science and Technology Innovation Award, which not only affirms the outstanding contributions of Radio and Television Metrology in the field of new energy vehicles, but also highly recognizes its continuous promotion of technological innovation and industrial upgrading in the new energy industry. In the future, radio and television metrology will continue to increase investment in technological innovation, deepen technology research and development, broaden application scenario verification, and inject strong impetus into the upgrading and high-quality development of the new energy industry.
