Shamsud-Din Jabbar, the suspected terrorist responsible for killing 15 people on New Year’s Day
when he drove a truck through the crowded Bourbon Street,
had been living a quiet and isolated life in a rundown trailer park with livestock on the outskirts of Houston, Texas, new information reveals.

Jabbar, a former U S Army staff sergeant, carried out the deadly attack on January 1, 2025,
using a rented Ford F-150 Lightning EV truck emblazoned with an I SIS flag. The flag signified that the attack was premeditated
and I SIS-inspired.
This attack is now considered one of the deadliest terrorist acts on U S soil since 9 11.
