BOMBSHELL Blow Just Decimated Starmer’s Regime Utterly!
Right, so New Year new start as the saying goes and nobody needs one of those more than Keir Starmer does, as 2025 greeted him with a much deserved but no less devastating blow to his credibility, his leadership and his policy choices in government. Whilst he holidays in Madeira polling has dropped, but this is not mere numbers this time, because the scale of his failure, his incompetence and his dishonesty has seen a record breaking freefall in public opinion, it’s all added up over that first 6 months in power into an absolute recipe for disaster for the Labour Party and sop it’s probably no surprise Labour figures are apparently now openly discussing his replacement and departure and for the vast majority of the country that can’t come soon enough, but should we really have any hope that whoever comes in to replace him – unelected as they would be – would be any better? 2025 could see the end of Starmer, but is there any real prospect that anyone else in the Labour Party can repair the damage this lying right wing red Tory has done?
Right, so it’s polling time again and all sorts of figures have come out not so much the voting intention ones that are capturing attention right now though, but how well Starmer’s regime have actually been doing in the eyes of the British public and the answer to that is frankly not very well at all. Now I know what some of you are thinking, especially polling sceptics, these are just snapshots after all, but they’ve been part of a declining trend all summed up in one bombshell of a blow when you consider them all parts of a whole, that whole formulating a general public viewpoint of how this government is doing, so let’s just have a look at some of the numbers that have come out.
For example, it was YouGov who asked the question ‘How is Labour managing the cost of living? We’re all experiencing a tightening of the belts after all, Starmer promised to see energy bills brought down and instead they’ve risen 3 times already since October, the New Year greeting the country with an average 1.5% rise in energy bills as Starmer sold out to the energy giants instead of reining them in, instead of renationalising our energy sector. That’s not even bringing up the cuts to the winter fuel allowance for pensioners, now getting yet another kicking in the pocket. Keir Starmer the granny harmer.
Your bus fare just doubled, a smack in the teeth to commuters and when the government is supposed to be encouraging us to use our cars less, this is a step in the complete opposite direction and of course your train fares have gone up too. What was Starmer saying about renationalising the railways? No sign of that yet and who’d trust him to not simply change his mind on that yet, given how much his word is worth?
Perhaps unsurprisingly, just 15% of those polled thought Starmer was doing a good job on the cost of living, compared to 74% who do not, a net rating of -59. For the record that’s the same rating the Tories had on the cost of living when they left office after 14 years. Starmer’s Labour have done it in 6 months.
YouGov also asked the question of how well Labour has done in office since coming into power, have they been doing well or have they been doing badly? Just 12% of respondents said Labour is doing well, compared to a whopping 69% who have said badly, a net rating of -57.
We shouldn’t be surprised, I doubt many of you watching will be surprised at this. Starmer came in on a platform of lowering bills, lowering taxes, when Rachel Reeves awful budget saw them hiked on employers which by extension is passed on to employees through wage repression and job losses, a budget which saw government bond share interest rates top that even of the Liz Truss disaster mini budget, but the press has never called Starmer out quite in the same way over that have they?
YouGov asked how well Labour is doing on the NHS? Starmer lackey Wes Streeting as offensive as ever and utterly determined to see more NHS privatisation, well it seems like the public generally are onto them, with just 18% saying Labour are doing a good job, compared to 70% who think the complete opposite, a net rating of -52, I mean these are catastrophic averages and I could of course carry on, but I think you’ve got the picture now. Words asked to describe Labour in that same poll included predominantly words like incompetent and dishonest and they’re absolutely right. But the culmination of all of these results are what has delivered a bombshell to Labour and what really ought to be getting all of that not so much backroom chatter, but open chatter surrounding Keir Starmer’s fate going forwards and how much longer realistically that Starmer can be permitted to remain in post and keep destroying the party fortunes as thoroughly dislikable and unpopular as he is.
You see where Starmer has already gone down as the most unpopular Prime Minister within 100 days of taking office in modern political history, he can now add the title of most unpopular incoming government ever, to that heading. Skwawkbox have laid into Starmer with an absolute evisceration of him in light of these stats, in an article titled ‘Starmer’s govt ‘most unpopular incoming ever’ – ‘shock’ new poll.’ I strongly recommend reading the full artile on their webpage, but here’s an excerpt:
‘Keir Starmer’s ‘Labour’ government is the ‘most unpopular incoming government of all time’ and is considered ‘incompetent’ and ‘dishonest’ by the public in a ‘shock’ new poll. The only ‘shock’ in that finding is, of course, the idea that it’s a ‘shock’ that the public sees Starmer and his Starmeroids as useless and liars.
The findings, based on analysis of recent by-election results as well as questions to the public, found that only 12% of the public think Starmer’s government has shown any success in its first six months and 56% hold the ‘incompetent’ and ‘dishonest’ view, more than double the number that thinks Starmer and co have any honesty or competence – now that number still looking at Starmer and thinking ‘Well there goes a trustworthy fellow who knows what he’s doing’ is a shock.
Even more think that Starmer’s government is screwing up the NHS badly than that he’s generally incompetent, with more than two-thirds concluding that Wes Streeting’s prescription of more privatisation, posing non-doctors as doctors and forcing punitive measures on people with mental health issues and medication on people with weight issues is not the right course of treatment – no shock there either.’
So the question now turns to one of can Starmer do anything to turn this about himself, certainly I imagine a number of Labour MPs are asking themselves about this and I think the answer to that plainly and clearly is no, because even on holiday, he’s managed to prove he is the most dislikable, stuck up prig, devoid of any relation to ordinary working place people, with a superiority complex to match.
If you haven’t been made aware of what ostensibly is a bit of a non story, it is something the right wing hate rags have been all over, but it does speak to the heart of who Keir Starmer is, what he is like as a person, that on holiday with his family in Madeira, at an amusement park where there was this toboggan ride that was very popular, so popular that the queue for it was three hours long, he evidently chose to pull rank and skipped to the front of the queue citing security reasons, amidst much booing and shouting apparently from those who were seen as less important.
Now security is one thing, sure, as the Prime Minister I daresay he needs some, especially if you’re as unpopular already as he is, but clearly he was perfectly secure to enter the park and enjoy the facilities with every other member of the public present everywhere else, he would therefore have been perfectly safe and secure waiting his turn in said queue then you would think. Instead, we get a reminder that this is a guy who thinks he is better than the rest of us, a guy who as a shadow minister in Corbyn’s administration reputedly ignored anyone he felt was beneath him if they spoke to him and we’re seeing that persona presented to us again here. That this a man who feels he is entitled and it is just one more facet to a man with absolutely no redeeming qualities whatsoever, that there is every reason for us to dislike him and every reason to believe there is no way he can turn his every growing unpopularity with the British populace around. He just doesn’t have it in him, he’s incapable of anything but being unpopular, dull, dishonest and downright cruel an aspect I haven’t touched on, but when you consider the harm his policies are doing to various demographics in this country, not just the elderly, but the low waged as he comes for benefits, the disabled again as he comes for benefits, the young, as he keeps the cruel Tories child benefit cap and then there is all the Zionism on top, still supporting Israel, that Lobby having bought and paid for him, because no PM has ever been so fond of freebies, so easy to be bought as Keir Starmer has been after all.
If Labour still think he can turn this around, those already catastrophic numbers can and will keep going south.
Aside from the dishonesty and incompetence, there is another aspect to Starmer which won’t help him either, his political ineptness and stupidity. All of that came out in economic analysis I did in this video recommendation here as your suggested next watch, that the Reeves budget legitimately was worse than Truss in at least some respects, so check that one out here, but please do hit like, share and subscribe before going if you haven’t already to help support the channel and ensure you don’t miss out on new daily content going forwards and I’ll hopefully catch you on the next vid. Cheers folks.
