Storm Shield Forecast morning update 8/2/18

Expect a high of 102 in Bakersfield this afternoon with 103 in Arvin and Lamont. The desert is obviously hotter with a high of 108 in Ridgecrest and California City this afternoon. Up in the mountains we'll stick with a high of 100 in Kernville but Lake Isabella looks to break those triple today, topping out at 99 degrees. Tehachapi drops to 89 for their high and Frazier Park will see 87 this afternoon.
