The president of the Arts and Humanities Council of Charlotte County, also known as Charlotte Arts, says the new gallery was designed to strengthen the local economy and drive more tourism to that area. The gallery is open from Thursday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. It's located at 1441 Tamiami Trail in Port Charlotte between J.C. Penny and Dillards.
