New Year Eve on Black Water

12/31/24. Turnpike to 401 near Wagram on Lumber R. Van wanted to review the trip from last week. Weather was overcast but eventually warmed. Water level was good and we had a good current. We stopped for lunch before Chalk Banks on river left. Some deer were seen and the beavers have been busy. It was a nice paddle to end the year. And yes, there was ice cream afterwards at Kountry Cream.
